Delete your Akhriya account

You can delete your Akhriya account and its data at any time, either directly in the app or by asking us.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open Akhriya and sign in.
- Go to the More tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2: without the app
If you no longer have the app, email support@djibsmart.net from the email address of your account, or call +253 21 34 02 13. Tell us the email address or phone number you sign in with. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, then we delete it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address or phone number, and profile photo
- Your reading history, targets, streaks and statistics
- Your excuses, notifications, settings and notification tokens
- Your membership in every group, and any group where you were the only member
What stays
- Groups that still have other members keep running without you. If you were their only admin, the longest-standing member becomes admin.
- Copies in our hosting provider’s encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you only want to take a break, you can instead leave a group, turn off notifications, or hide yourself from leaderboards in the app. See our privacy policy for more about how we handle your data.
